Enjoy a twist on classic tacos with these fun and delicious Cheesy Taco Sticks, perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.

  • 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or oil.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked ground beef or turkey and taco seasoning, cooking as per package instructions.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles.
  4. At the wide end of each triangle, add a spoonful of the seasoned meat mixture, a handful of shredded cheese, and a dollop of salsa.
  5. Roll each triangle tightly from the wide end to form sticks and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve with remaining salsa for dipping.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
