  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., Monterey Jack or Cheddar)
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with hot honey. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little cooking oil.
  3. Place a tortilla in the skillet, then add a portion of the chicken mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  4. Top with another tortilla and cook until golden brown, then flip to cook the other side.
  5. In another bowl, combine sour cream, minced jalapeño, and lime juice to create the spicy cream sauce.
  6. Serve the quesadillas hot with the jalapeño cream sauce on the side.
