Deliciously flaky and savory Pigs in a Blanket, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 package cocktail sausages
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)
  • Mustard (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to just under a quarter-inch thick and cut into rectangles.
  3. Take a cocktail sausage and position it at one end of each rectangle of pastry.
  4. Gently roll each rectangle around the sausage, sealing the edges.
  5. Place each rolled sausage seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash for a glossy finish.
  7. Pop the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with mustard on the side for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
