  • 1 package of cinnamon roll dough
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the cinnamon roll dough package instructions.
  2. Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Roll out the cinnamon roll dough onto a clean surface.
  4. Spread soft butter on top of the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  6. Add the chopped bacon evenly over the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly into a log.
  8. Slice the rolled dough into eight equal pieces.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish with space between them.
  10. Drizzle the maple syrup and bourbon mixture over the rolls.
  11. Bake the rolls according to package instructions until golden brown.
  12. Let the rolls cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Best served warm, can be reheated if there are leftovers.
