A delightful bread combining the creamy texture of cream cheese with sweet bursts of blueberries, perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack.

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and butter together until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool before slicing.

Notes

For best texture, use room temperature cream cheese and butter. You can substitute berries or add nuts for variations.
