Soft, buttery biscuits bursting with juicy blueberries, perfect for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Fold in the fresh blueberries gently.
  5. Mix the milk and vanilla extract in another bowl. Pour into the dry mixture and mix gently.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.

Notes

Serve warm with butter or honey. Can be stored in an airtight container for 2 days, or frozen for up to 3 months.
