  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • Honey for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar until creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the fresh blueberries.
  7. Fill cupcake liners about 2/3 full with batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool the cupcakes, then drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and fresh blueberries. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
