A comforting and hearty dish that combines egg noodles, seasoned ground beef, and creamy ingredients, all topped with gooey cheddar cheese.

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the beef mixture; stir until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure you drain the ground beef well to avoid excess grease. This dish can be frozen before baking for later use.
