Deliciously fluffy and subtly sweet banana donut holes, perfect for brunch or a cozy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium bananas, mashed
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sugar (for coating)
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas and combine with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil, frying until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and roll in the sugar and cinnamon mixture if desired.

Notes

These donut holes can also be baked at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes for a healthier option.
