  • 1 cup fresh milled soft white wheat berries
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the fresh milled wheat berries, baking powder, and salt, mixing until just combined.
