Quick and easy honey garlic chicken that’s perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken pieces in the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Coat the chicken with the honey garlic sauce in the skillet.
  5. Simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use tamari or coconut aminos. Adjust sweetness with rice vinegar or lemon juice if desired.
